To celebrate this momentous day she is also giving away a $25 Gift Card to Amazon where you can stock up on all of her beloved series.
1. What led to the decision of not revealing yourself?
I wasn’t sure how people in my “real life” would react to a boring stay at home mom suddenly writing some rather spicy love stories. I didn’t want my private life to be confused with my public life.
2. What led to the decision to reveal yourself ?
Most people in my private life now know that I write as Kirsten anyway. All of the people that matter know, so I don’t feel like I have anything to lose by revealing who I am.
3. What would you like your readers to know about you that they don’t yet?
I want my readers to know that I’m a real person just like everyone else. I work hard on my books, and I write fast, but I’m not a machine. I’m human. I have a human’s feelings. I think that’s easy for people to forget sometimes.
4. How do you feel now that you’ve revealed your identity?
I’m not really sure. I don’t think it’s hit home yet. I’ve been “invisible” for so long that it’s going to seem strange the first time (if it ever happens) that I’m recognized. I like living in my little cave with no one knowing me, but I feel like that’s hiding from the world. I don’t want to do that anymore.
5. Do you think your life will change now that readers know who you are?
Not really. I hope I’m right about that, because I happen to like my life for the most part![su_divider top=”no”]

As the sixth in a family full of girls, Hyacinth felt she often faded into the woodwork. Of course, she liked living in her own world, where no one really bothered her. She spent her days at the library working on her book, and her evenings hiding in her room. She was determined to be just as good as all her sisters, most of whom she felt overshadowed by. Lawrence watched the pretty girl in the library for weeks before he finally approached her, only to learn she was the younger sister of his favorite person in the city. To him, Hyacinth was perfect. Of course, he had no idea how to court a woman. Thankfully, he found a newspaper column that would teach him everything he needed to know. Would she always think he was crazy every Tuesday when he followed its advice, though?
“This was such a sweet, romantic book. But my goodness it was also the funniest book I’ve read in a LONG time.” Yoshimama
